Mwah

So here is the brief history of mwah, Lydia Johnson.

I was raised on a farm in the middle of nowhere along with my twin sister Aleythia. The farm was only six acres, but man we had fun. When I was six we moved into town so that my dad could be closer to were he worked. Traumatizing... for our neighbors. But, I won't go into that.
For the first time I went to an actual school, and wondered what this strange thing "English" was.
Somehow, somewhere I liked horses. As far as I know I'd only ever seen a horse once. I started riding at a ten acre farm a mile from where I lived. If you want to know how that worked out go to my other blog and click on the tab that says "How it all Began". Thus commenced my "life" with horses. I put it in quotations because I am not that old.
For the next eight years I went to school, played basketball, got a broken leg, went to high school, and rode horses. I am 15 and I want to train horses for a living. I'm already training, just not for a living. I have been lucky enough to have horses that are somewhat good, but mostly bad. I have learned a lot from those horses with very different personalities and I am still learning. I have never had a riding instructor. Everything I have learned, small as it may be, has been from observation, trial and error, magazines, any DVDs and books I can get my hands on, and the lovely Internet. I expand my knowledge as much as I can as often as I can. Mostly through riding different horses. I go to horse camps and I have friends that have horses I will ride once in a while.
The thing I want to do the most though is.... Learn how to do at least the basics of every discipline. The ones I really want to know and be good at are Dressage, Jumping, Barrel Racing, and Cutting.
I want to know how to do it and teach it.
My big dream is to apprentice with Clinton Anderson. Though it doesn't have to be Clinton Anderson. So let's put it this way. I want to apprentice with a horse trainer that is pretty well known.
Wish me luck!
